About Dr. Claire Cordoba, OD FAAO

Originally from Morton, Illinois, Dr. Claire Cordoba received her B.A. in Biology from Augustana College in 2018 before participating in the 3:4 Optometry Dual Degree Program through Augustana College and the Illinois College of Optometry, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2021.

She then completed her residency in Primary Care with an emphasis on Ocular Disease in 2022 at the Indiana University School of Optometry and has a special passion for rehabilitating patients that experience low vision.

The American Academy of Optometry welcomed Dr. Cordoba in 2023 as a Fellow.

Dr. Cordoba’s hobbies outside of optometry include reading and taking her golden retriever, Theo, on hikes.
